 PTSA Executive Board Meeting Minutes

November 7, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.

 

 

Call to Order: The meeting of the 2007/2008 Executive Board of the Howard A. Doolin Middle School PTSA was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by President Maite Gomez.

 

Roll Call:    Maite Gomez, Zaida Rivera, Barbara Prieto, Mrs Iza-Rodriguez.

 

Quorum:     The president declared a quorum was present.

 

Minutes:     Minutes from the October 10, 2007 were approved as presented.  M/S/P

 

Treasurer’s Report: 

•  As of 11/7 we have $237.00

•  Bank account has been opened.  Due to the resignation of Luis Pacheco as Vice President, new signature needs to be added to the account.  Kelly Padilla will be the third signature on the account.

            •  $102.00 has been turned in to the National PTSA for new members.

                                                 • Budget will be determined at a later date.

 

President’s Report:

•                     Commissioner Joe Martinez will donate $500 to the PTSA

 

•                     Luis Pacheco will no longer be serving on the board for personal reasons.  His resignation has been accepted.

 

•                     We have 90 members as of 11/7/2007

 

•                     $56.00 raised from the Halloween Grams FundRaiser

 

•                     PTSA Board Member Contact Information Sheet will be revised and sent out to Board Members by the President
